“We are very excited about our new clinic and the services we can now offer our patients,” said Carlos E. Arce-Lara, MD, medical oncologist and hematologist at CBSA. “As a community oncologist, it is very important to have the space as well as tools to treat our patients with the newest treatments and diagnostic equipment as close to home as possible. Patients in Casa Grande will value this new treatment site greatly.”

“To better serve our patients, it is important that our clinics are able to deliver total comprehensive care in a space outfitted with the latest treatment options and equipment,” said Stephen “Fred” Divers, MD, chief medical officer at AON. “The new clinic provides ample space for our providers to deliver the same high-quality patient care they are known for while offering patients additional services in the form of PET/CT scans and radiation treatments. Congratulations to the clinic for securing this expansion and new services.”

Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona joined AON in early 2021. As part of the partnership, the clinic and providers have access to AON’s wide variety of services and support that allow them to practice with a patient-first mindset. Such services include access to AON’s in-house pathology and laboratory, specialty pharmacy for oral oncolytic medications and integrated patient care management.

“I am very proud to serve this community and be able to advance the field of oncology,” said Dr. Arce-Lara. “Thank you to American Oncology Network for this important investment and for being a partner in the growth of Casa Grande and Pinal County as a whole.”
